They get you to sign up with all your personal information including your SSN and bank account/ debit card, then after they have all that they disable your account without warning or explanation. When asked on Facebook or on the phone they only say it is a security problem. But they are not allowed to discuss your own supposed security problem with yourself. Really? Earlier today I sent airtime to both my Moms prepaid XL cell phones in Indonesia. I did both the maximum it allowed me so IDR 10,000 each which equals $1.20 each. Both transactions completed successfully in a couple of minutes. Because my Mom is very ill at this time and cell phones are an important form of help line to her now, I decided to top off even more, each phone an extra IDR 10,000 and IDR 5,000. Those 4 last transactions seem to be stuck? Used the same Debit card, so it is weird to me that it is stuck now like this. Platform: iOS Device: iPhone iPhone OS 9.3 (Public Beta)

I am trying not to be furious now but its hard when you are told your account is disabled because your account didnt pass security check. Wait, since when? I used this same account to send airtime credit a month ago. The sad part is another person I know had the same issue and I thought this was rectified. How can your account be closed over $10 airtime credits. I would definitely not recommend this website to anyone. This is not a monopoly market and I will be taking my business elsewhere. DONT USE THEIR SERVICES BECAUSE THEY WOULD DISABLE YOUR ACCOUNT AFTER A FEW TRANSACTIONS. BEWARE!!!!!

WR will treat you like a criminal if you use their services more than 10 times a month. Im building a house in Colombia and Im transferring money to my wife to buy the PC items. I had two fully funded and paid for transactions waiting to be delivered totalling around $1200 USD and suddenly everything is frozen. No written advice or contact from WR to tell me what was happening. My emails to WR were ignored and the only response i received was after three days when i received an email from WR advising me I was a criminal. WR then demanded bank statements, the source of all funds transferred, my occupation, my relationships with the recipients (my wife and her Mum), a "Valid photographic ID" the nature and purpose of the funds. All information was to be provided before my transactions would be delivered - ostensibly because my transactions totalling $15k USD makes me some kind of criminal. F@@@ You World Remit.

Back in the day I had to drive across town looking for a Moneygram or worst western union. Now at the click of a button I can send money at any time of day from my cellphone. Great customer service too. This is the UBER of money transfers. Keep it up.

My remittance generally takes less than 5 minutes to arrive, Ive been able to send money on an emergency and it was received quickly. The exchange rate provided is great, very close to the price I would get trading fx on FXCM. The most recent update has streamlined the process and now it takes me less than 1 minute to send money, great app, highly recommended.
